Text and art—they have gone hand in hand for centuries. David Moss, an American-born, Jerusalem artist tells stories of the Hebrew Bible through art. Using color and shape, Moss brings alive stories like "The Akeida"—the binding of Isaac—without using words, and offers a new perspective on understanding the text. This class promises to provide a new lens for studying Torah, noticing patterns, language choices, and movement between biblical characters. Designed for both longtime and new students of Torah.
