Anson Laytner
Rabbi Anson Laytner retired from his position as program manager of the Interreligious Initiative at Seattle University’s School of Theology and Ministry in 2015. He also was adjunct faculty with SU’s Department of Theology and Ministry. Prior to this he worked with a variety of nonprofit organizations in Seattle. He is the author of Arguing with God; with Dan Bridge, of The Animals’ Lawsuit Against Humanity; and co-editor with Jordan Paper of The Chinese Jews of Kaifeng. As a volunteer, Laytner is immediate past president of the Sino-Judaic Institute and has edited its journal, Points East, for over 30 years.
